EASTER IS FOR EASTER EGGS!
The Hunt Is On!
Happy Easter 2026, those who celebrate!
In the spirit of the events of the holiday, I wanted to advise that I have an Easter Egg hidden within book 1, A Thread of Waking Light, of my new series Bonds of Faith and Blood.
It involves a slightly morphed reference to something from one of my favorite authors.
Those of you who have completely read my book should have come across it, although I hid it slightly, and either you may not be familiar with the author’s work, or you may not remember the item to which it refers if you are. I will be fair and list my top favorite series, ordered by their authors to keep it neutral, below in order to narrow the possibilities down so that those of you who are interested can see if you can try to find the Easter Egg.
If anyone actually gets it, the first person to tell me (per date and time stamp of the message) will get a prize. I will have to think one up at the time it happens, though. Starving artist at the moment, sorry! But I will definitely publicly congratulate the winner and confirm the answer at that time both here and on my WorldAnvil Wiki: The World of El'Darin.
Also, fair warning, this also means that future book Easter Eggs will come from this same list, too! Be prepared, if you like this sort of thing!
