Memorial Day

A little prayer

Good morning,

It’s Memorial Day weekend, and I will keep this short. In light of recent deployments for a conflict we shouldn’t even be fighting, there may be those of you experiencing a loss you shouldn’t have had to endure.

A long time ago, I wrote a poem that a friend suggested would help people experiencing loss, and I give it to you now in the hopes it makes its way to anyone who may have need to hear it.

REUNION PRAYER

Where Sun’s gold light should lead thee,
And silver Stars’ shine guide thee,
I pray the Angels guard thee,
’Til one day, reunite we.
